Rukmani Devi Jaipuria Public School is a reputed and sought after co-educational English Medium Senior Secondary School. It is affiliated to the C.B.S.E. The foundation stone of the school was laid in 1975 by Shri. C. L. Jaipuria and Sh. M. P. Jaipuria, in the memory of their mother, Smt. Rukmani Devi Jaipuria.

The school is based on the concept of providing holistic education. We believe that the aim of education is the knowledge, not only of facts, but of values also. We strive to imbibe good values in our students and make them worthy citizens of India. Many of our students, after passing out from our school, hold respectable positions in the society- their achievements are endless.

For holistic development of a studentís personality, emphasis is laid on curricular as well as co-curricular activities. We adopt the latest technology to impart wholesome education to our students

Academics

There are well equipped labs for Science, Maths, SST. and Computer, Computer Education is given from class 1st onwards Computer aided learning in labs and A.V rooms. At the Sr.Secondary level there are three streams:-
1) Science ( Medical and Non Medical ).
2) Commerce (with Maths or without Maths).
3) Humanities.
Since it is a two years course, no changes in any subject in class XII are allowed. We have a highly qualified, efficient and hardworking faculty. There is a good rapport between the faculty and the students. Our teachers are friends, guides and facilitators for the students.

Facilities

To provide a creative outlet to studentsí energy, several co-curricular activities are carried on eg. Debates, poem recitation, vocal and instrumental music training, cookery classes, writing, and enacting plays and many more. These activities not only provide a healthy diversion from the schedule of the studies but also polish a studentís social and emotional skills and hence improve his/her personality.

The school has a vast playground. Students are trained in football, basketball, volleyball, cricket, badminton, table tennis and other outdoor and indoor games under the guidance of expert coaches.

The school also has a big auditorium, well ventilated big class rooms, filtered cold water etc.

The school Library- School has a well equipped library which is open to all bonafide students of the school from class 2 onwards.

Admission for General Category

Process
« Admissions are done in the month of February / March on the basis of tests conducted by the school in English, Maths, EVS/Social Science and Science, strictly on the basis of merit.
« Admission for EWS Category is done as specified by the Govt.
« Documents required- The child must submit original DOB certificate / TC from a recognized school, countersigned by Education Officer of the concerned zone, report card / marksheet.
« Documents required for EWS Category- as specified by the Govt.
